The Admin shoud be able to give some users the pemanently right to kick, ban or mute others users. In big Communities there is no other way to handle the bad users, because one men is not enough and not permanently online to watch the Chat.

I think the ability for users to group friends in chat using friend list just like on facebook which can be switched on and off is a must have feature I think that is the only think lacking in the chat module of the cometchat bar.

What about user commands like shouting as we know in the java/php based and very loved good old cassiopeia chat? For example /me = User actting( text), /s = User shouts, /w = to see who is in the room, /wc = see who is in the chat, /f (username) = whisper to (username): text.., and so on

i miss a ranking by the games plugin, people like to see themselfe in the top of a rankinglist.

This idea works like the facebook´s chat! when u click in some link the chat bar never refresh, but with cometchat we disconect and connect again (at least on vbulletin), if this integration get better it will be awsome.

A instructional page that gives information for creating new themes, detailed to point how for changing the more common parts. Like PM text color, etc. So one doesnt have to go through each and every line in the css file and have to edit, and refresh after every edit to see what changed.

I would like my users to be able to call each other without having to use the chat window. A user could send a call request, and a call notification would pop up in the centre of the users webpage. The user could then accept or ignore the call (think skype style calling notification).

Try to convert popup windows to ajax requests to prevent windows being blocked by popups. For example, when I go to add a smiley, have the window do some sort of ajax open to insert the smiley.

I would pay even 3 times the platinum version's price for something like this, please make Cometchat a vBulletin unique product! That will be a MUST for most webmasters.

I have tons of different groups within my Jomsocial site. They moderators often just create a chatroom, but it would be great if the Jomsocial Groups that you are a member of automatically show up in your Chatroom list. This way you can have impromptu group chats with the people that matter most. This would make Chatrooms a logical choice for Jomsocial users.
